STRAWBERRY AND APPLE PIE
Ingredients (Serves 8):
500 grams of ready rolled puff pastry - 500 grams strawberries - 500 grams of Stark apples - 150 grams sugar - The seeds from 1 vanilla pod - Grated rind of 1 lemon - 1 spoonful of plain flour - 1 knob of butter - 4 dry biscuits

Preparation:
Peel and core the apples and cut them into 2 cm cubes. Wash, hull and cut the strawberries into quarters. Put them in a bowl with the apples and add the sugar, the vanilla seeds, lemon rind and flour. Cut the pastry into 2 circles; one larger than the other. Line a hinged 24 cm cake tin that has been buttered and sprinkled with flour. Line the tin with the larger piece of pastry and make small holes in it with a fork. Coat with crushed biscuits and cover with the fruit. Carefully place the smaller pastry circle on top.
